Costa del SilencioCosta del Silencio is about 6 miles from the airport and 4 miles from Los Cristianos. Most complexes are two storey. There are a few three and four storey complexes. The area is quieter but there are plenty of shops, bars and restaurants in the area. Silencio, the holiday area, has grown to the east of the fishing village, Las Galletas, which has a small beach (sand and shingle mix) and a promenade.There are plenty of sun decks and terraces,ideal locations for the all year round tan. The roads slope down from Silencio to Las Galletas but the gradient is not too steep. There are regular bus services. There is an Aqua park and a Ecological Park close at hand and takes about 15 minutes in a car.Frequent buses travel to all parts of the Island, and sightseeing tours can be booked locally There are over 60 restaurants and eating establishments from Chinese to French cuisines. Flights are regular from most UK airports, and ticket prices can be as little as £100 return in off peak times.Our apartments are about 15 minutes ride away from the airport, and they ARE NOT on the flight path. Here we are showing the complexes where we have one and two bed properties for rent. The price tariff is at the bottom of the page. Accommodation One bed and two bed apartments are available. they are all comfortably furnished and well equipped for holidays. Some have additional features such as a washing machine, hob/oven Tv/DVD Player, CD/tape/radio, iron and ironing board.microwave,fridge/freezer Some have satelitte TV, sorry no wifi or internet connection, but local cafes have them One bed apartments sleep up to four and two bed apartments sleep up to six people. All apartments are serviced before and after the rental period. Laundry is changed weekly if on a two week let or longer. Long lets of 4 or more weeks are let on a self clean/laundry basis. Electricity and linen are included in the price.There is a small supermarket on most sites and a larger one is located approx 200 metres away There is a Bowls green within walking distance, with 12 rinks, and for the more energetic there is a 9 hole and four 18 hole golf courses nearby. The ladies will love the variety of local shops from clothes to jewellery at remarkably low prices. Some apartments have safes and some apartments can accommodate an extra folding bed or cot. An extra charge is made for these facilities. It is also possible to arrange a welcome pack for an additional charge. Rentals can start on any day of the week. Access to the apartment will normally be from 3pm on the day of your arrival. You will need to vacate the apartment at 10.00am on the day of departure, but arrangements can sometimes be made for minding the luggage. This is to allow time to clean the apartment. If you require early access this can sometimes be arranged. Early access and late departures can sometimes be arranged for an additional charge.
